Joe Biden, President of the United States of America, said Russian Federation leader Vladimir Putin could face a war crimes trial in the near future. The United States also announced that further sanctions will be launched against Russia due to the unspeakable atrocities committed at the expense of civilians on Ukrainian territory.
President Biden described Putin as a “war criminal, during an interview with several journalists. He stressed the brutality of the Bucha massacres.
An investigation will be launched to gather further details regarding the war crimes committed by the Russians in Ukraine. There are many images that portray numerous civilians killed, buried in mass graves, abandoned in the streets of almost totally destroyed Ukrainian cities.
Russia, however, has denied such atrocities by claiming that it is an orchestrated staging by the West.
