Washinton DC, the capital of the US, is currently an area occupied by more troops than those deployed in the famous war theaters of Afghanistan and Iraq. A massive deployment of forces for Biden’s inauguration.

It is no exaggeration to say that the whole world, already sadly shaken by the global epidemic of coronavirus, which has been with us for over a year now, is deeply concerned about the unpredictable political and social situation of the world’s greatest power.
A massive deployment of forces, around 21.000, which far exceeds the total number of troops stationed in the theatres of Afghanistan and Iraq. The troops stationed in the capital, mostly belonging to the National Guard, are used as a deterrent to prevent further unrest, during the inauguration ceremony of the new President.
Compared to the past, during Trump’s inauguration 8,000 military personnel were present while during Obama’s first presidential term, 10,000 military personnel were present.
The military on guard in Washington has been instructed on the possible use of IEDS, which stands for improvised explosive devices, homemade bombs that the US army knows well.
In fact, in the middle eastern theatres of war, they are assembled by the guerrillas and used to sow terror and death among the troops.
Clearly, the use of these devices is only a possibility, but in this delicate situation, nothing can be left to chance.
