UAP Disclosure

UAP disclosure is a record-keeping and accountability question as much as it is a question about unexplained observations. Insider Release follows official releases, agency records, FOIA litigation, congressional activity and testimony connected to unidentified anomalous phenomena. We focus on what a document actually says, who released it, when it became available and what remains unverified.

This archive brings together reporting on AARO’s historical work, public workshops and contracting, alongside records involving the Department of Defense, ODNI, DOE and other agencies. Start with the reporting on the AARO Volume II record and the AARO–NUFOHRC sole-source contract. For the documentary trail behind specific claims, see our coverage of the Grusch v. DoD FOIA case and the DOE OICI UAP FOIA release.

We do not treat an allegation, a leaked description or an unexplained image as proof of extraordinary conclusions. Our aim is to make the source trail easier to inspect while keeping uncertainty visible. If you are researching the process itself, use the UAP FOIA request template as a practical starting point. Claims, official findings and open questions are kept distinct so readers can assess the evidence for themselves.
