PURSUE Release 05 is the fifth batch of UAP records published through the Department of War’s official portal. The release is dated 7 August 2026; its filtered catalogue lists 41 files. This guide explains how to obtain the batch and read its records without treating unresolved reports as confirmed explanations.

Download the official Release 05 files
- Open the official PURSUE catalogue and select R05. Confirm that the filter reads Release 05 and the count is 41.
- Use the Release 05 document ZIP (130 MB) or video ZIP (513 MB). These are substantial downloads.
- Keep the original filenames. Record the file ID, agency, incident date and page or video timestamp for each citation.

Evidence limits
A release date is not an incident date. A witness statement, diplomatic cable and intelligence report also have different evidentiary roles. Read the full record before repeating a label from a search result. Redactions or missing attachments limit what can be concluded; they do not supply evidence for a preferred explanation.
The portal describes its archived cases as unresolved. That status should remain explicit when discussing a report. This page is a source guide, not a claim that the release establishes extraterrestrial origin.
